Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. is an American entertainment company based in Burbank, California. It was founded in 1923 by Jack Warner, Harry Warner, Albert Warner, and Sam Warner. It is currently owned by Warner Bros. Discovery.
Warner Bros.' ventures and subsidiaries include Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Animation, and television networks The WB and 12.5% of The CW.
Ownership to MGM cartoons[]
On October 10, 1996, Warner Bros.' parent company Warner Bros. Discovery (Time Warner then) owns Turner Entertainment, the company that was established after Ted Turner acquired MGM's pre-May 1986 library.
Warner Home Video has re-released MGM cartoons to DVD and Blu-Ray.
Warner Bros. Animation produced every Tom and Jerry movie since Tom and Jerry and the Magic Ring. They also produced Tom and Jerry Tales and The Tom and Jerry Show.
