The Captain's Christmas is a 1938 The Captain and the Kids cartoon directed by Friz Freleng.
Plot[]
The Captain is playing Santa; John and his henchmen stick him up and take over, but John breaks all the toys. They go into town and sing, so badly that people throw things at them to get them to to stop.

- (2012) Blu-ray - Looney Tunes Platinum Collection: Volume 2, Disc 3 (1995 USA Turner print)
Notes[]
- This is one of two cartoons in the series in color, the other being Petunia Natural Park.
- This is the only cartoon where Long John Silver is not voiced by Mel Blanc; he is instead voiced by Billy Bletcher with Charles Bennett providing his singing voice.
Censorship[]
- When this cartoon was shown on Cartoon Network's animation history show, ToonHeads (on an episode about Christmas-themed cartoons), the scene of one of the kids playing with a wind-up slow-shuffling black man and The Captain shooting at the toy to make it dance faster was cut.
