Tex Avery Screwball Classics is a series of single-disc Blu-ray and DVD sets by Warner Archive collecting various theatrical cartoons from animation director Tex Avery during his tenure at the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's cartoon division between the years of 1942 and 1955. Unlike previous laserdisc and VHS releases, the cartoons were presented fully uncut and restored for the first time in HD. The cartoons are in a "best of" fashion since Warner had to scout and find the best available elements since the original negatives to the pre-51 MGM library were destroyed in the 1978 George Eastman House Fire.
