Synopsis[]
When a homesteader moves into cattle country and the cattle complains to a local sheriff, an all-out feud starts. Using one dirty trick after another, the sheriff is making things hard for homesteader Droopy. Until, that is, he makes the fatal mistake of taking on Droopy’s family…

- The title card for this is similar to the title card from Wild and Woolfy, also starring Droopy.
- Baby Droopy was said to be precursor to Droopy's son, Dripple.
- The characters from the short would reappear again in Tom and Jerry Media.
- Dripple, the baby in this short, reappeared in Tom and Jerry Kids alongside Droopy.
