Hanna-Barbera Productions, Inc. was an animation studio run by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.
History[]
Hanna-Barbera was founded on July 7, 1957 by William Hanna, Joseph Barbera, and George Sidney as H-B Enterprises after Hanna and Barbera left MGM. Its name was changed to Hanna-Barbera in 1959.
Hanna-Barbera was acquired by Taft Broadcasting in 1966. It was then sold to Turner Entertainment in 1991.
